    Two ways to split

    Extracting pages gives you one new PDF containing exactly the pages you name. Type something like "1-3, 5, 8-10" and you get those nine pages in that order, which is what you want when sending one section of a long report or pulling the signed page out of a contract.

    Splitting into single-page files gives you one PDF per page, delivered as a ZIP. That is the right choice when pages need to be handled separately — filing individual invoices, or uploading pages one at a time to a system that only accepts one.

    Nothing is re-rendered

    Pages are copied whole rather than rebuilt, so text stays selectable and searchable, embedded fonts stay intact, and images keep their original quality. Page dimensions carry across individually, so a document mixing A4 and Letter pages splits without anything being stretched.

    This matters most for documents you may need to prove are unaltered — a split page is byte-for-byte the same content as it was in the original.

    Why splitting privately matters

    The documents people split are rarely trivial: contracts, bank statements, medical records, tax filings. Every mainstream online splitter asks you to upload those to a server you know nothing about, and most keep them for some period afterwards.

    Here the file is read directly in your browser and the new PDF is written there too. Nothing is transmitted, so there is no server copy to retain in the first place.

    Are my files uploaded to a server?

    No. The conversion runs inside your browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never transmitted anywhere, which is why the tool works even if you disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

    How do I write the page range?

    Use commas for individual pages and hyphens for ranges — "1-3, 5, 8-10" gives you pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10. Pages outside the document are ignored rather than causing an error.

    Will the split pages still have selectable text?

    Yes. Pages are copied intact rather than converted to images, so text stays selectable and searchable.

    Can I split a password-protected PDF?

    Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then split the unlocked copy.

    Is there a file limit or a paywall?

    There is no account, no watermark, and no upload cap. Because your device does the work, the only practical limit is your available memory. The site is funded by ads, not subscriptions.
